You simply can’t have a varied class-based gameplay experience when all of the weapons are realistic (that is to say, they fire in straight lines, like normal firearms).     I like how suddenly this is a big deal, as if Quake and UT don’t exist. D:

    Hopefully, however, we’ll see a resurgence of unrealistic shooters. If it takes Valve another game to get people to realize not all shooters have to be CS or Halo clones, then so be it. Those noobs at Epic and id certainly aren’t going to pull it off on their own.
